Working with a range of materials to serve our customers
The material Millux processes most frequently is stainless steel. It is the easiest material to process using a laser. We process all different kinds of stainless steel, including various types within the 300 and 400 range. It all depends on what the customer asks for. Our experience with this material is extensive. We have also worked on products were we developed alternative strategies of drilling order to prevent the material from deforming or minimize the recast zone.
Other much used materials are titanium, nitinol, aluminum and inconel. We also do laser cutting on wood, engraving on plastics and micromachining on plastics, ceramics, rubber and glass. We can process materials starting at 0,01 millimetre thickness, up until about 3-4 millimetres thickness.
Our processes focus on fine mechanical applications. We mostly make high precision parts, including parts that need processing at micro precision. Our range of markets is wide. We serve over 3000 customers in aircraft industry, semicon and the medical industry, amongst others.
